Difference between modified and activated Alumina
It is a highly porous solid with a high surface area. It is used as a catalyst carrier and chemical reaction catalyst because its microporous surface exhibits the required catalytic characteristics, including adsorption efficiency, surface activity and good thermal stability.

Surface coating metal modification can be used to improve the performance of metal alumina composite materials.
